Well we are still painting the second floor.  Using our trade dollars from ITEX and Art of Barter.  We feel things will still be completed by June.  All the bells and whistles will have to wait.  But everything looks great and the new Bryant High Efficiency A.C. units should be in the first week of April.

We are hoping for a softer gentler rainy season then last year.  Don’t forget to change your furnace filter.  And call us to have your A.C. unit serviced.

Hope to have some new funny commercials this summer. 

 The Naperville home show at North Central, last week, was great.

The Expert Plumbing Impersonater is back on the phone book covers.  We will honer those coupons.  One of our customers said she called them by mistake and thru them out when they Quoted them $1400.00 dollars for the work she wanted.  Our tech completed the work for about $600.00 and was then given there quote.  You can come to our shop and see it anytime you like.  Call first.  Either we charge way too little or they charge way too much. You decide.   Happy Easter!

Putting the final coats of paint on the second floor of my home.  I must say, thing turned out beautifully.

Looking to trade services.  I need a piano tuner who will trade for Plumbing, heating, air conditioning or electrical.  I have a Steinway upright.  I cold also use some landscaping on trade.

We are installing 2 new Bryant High efficency air conditioners in our home.  Soon we can all feel the magic.  Oh yeah, I also need a natulal gas grill on trade.

The economy is slowly inching up.  People are buying smarter.  battery back-ups and serge protectors are selling strong.  Soon we can start preparing for the next recession.

It’s seems to snow every day lately.  The house is at a stand still and waiting to have the second floor painted.  Everything takes time.

Stephen’s third Birthday today.  Can spring be far behind?

On many an occasion we have been so busy that we have referred our clients to another local contractor.  This referral was always made when people wanted someone local who would not “Ripe them off “.  Sad to say that these hard times have forced them to close their doors.  Naperville plumbing contractors, tip your hats, for but the grace of God.  I hope the employees of Lenert Plumbing land on their feet.  We wish them the best in this economic struggle.

Meanwhile the family is back in the house and we are slowly coming back to life.  The walk-in tub is super.  Two year old Stephen saw it in full Jet bubble mode and said “This my bath Dad!”

Still not in our house but, the drywall is up and we are waiting for tape.  Then I’ll paint and put the floor in.  Sad to say we will not be comfortable on Christmas.  I blame the city of Naperville who took three months to review our blueprint.  It’s always the people who try to do things right that get slammed.  We lost an entire week because the inspector wanted half inch threaded rod installed in the corner of our house to protect us from tornadoes.  What the hell?  When you pull a permit, the City is supposed to protect you from dishonest contractors not nit-pick every square inch of your home displaying their ability to quote obscure codes.  And since I am the contractor, and the work was above and beyond code, each request was actually a demand.  Pulling a permit opens you to the wrath of annal tirents who should be looking for things done without permits and trucks with no phone numbers or names.
